The hot August days of summer were dry of competition but still full of some staple events for the Warriors team. Starting off our annual rummage sale, with more in or more accurately out for sale because as a result of the imminent move to the LCTC. All but our trusty toolboxes and of course the robots and parts would have to be sold off as there was no room for them in our newly furnished Robotics Center. This is one of our primary fundraising efforts each year and helped raise $4,050.
The rest of the month was filled with demonstrations. A quick, but hot stop, by Amazon's Family Fun Day. Then over to HM White's Yearly Car Show where luckily enough we had shelter away from the rain. Our next concern was not knowing the shop had a pet Rooster. Then to an annual LPS Bounce Back to School over at Stevenson High School. Stellaris really got to show her stuff as the large distance up the hill to catch balls and a good supply made in rain foam balls in and amongst the bounce houses right before school started the next week.
